This virus directly affects the intestinal tract. This virus also spreads when a person consumes water that is contaminated directly or indirectly such as when washing fruits and vegetables. Hepatitis in rare cases may also pave way for diarrhea and in extreme cases may also cause jaundice. In some cases they cause weakness and due to this the person may become nauseous. Bile pigments that are present in the blood must be broken down by the liver. This process may be slowed down or even stopped by this virus. Studies about baby vaccines reveal that the vaccine for hepatitis A was initially administered to children of Thailand who were affected by the virus. This proved to be effective even though could not assure cent percent protection.
Studies about baby vaccines prove that once a person is administered the first dosage of hepatitis vaccine; the vaccine takes nearly a month to become effective. This disease is also contagious like any other viral disease and spread from one person to another person when they are in close contact. This viral disease never leads to death and is treatable. Once a person is affected with hepatitis A, he develops immunity for his life time so that the virus cannot affect the same person any more. Food and Drug Administration commonly named FDA gave license to this vaccine and millions of people are getting benefited through this vaccine today. Thus this virus is tackled through vaccines.
